Challenge
Open-pit operations are difficult to understand from drawings alone. The scale defeats intuition, while regulators are asked to review proposals and communities are asked to assess impacts they may not be able to picture clearly.
Solution
Topographically accurate models of the pit and surrounding terrain, built from survey data, rendered as stills and flyovers that convey true scale from any vantage point.

Used by Agnico Eagle in consultation and regulatory affairs at its Nunavut operations, supporting approvals for expansions and new developments.
